Steve Ligus

Steve Ligus has varied work experience in the fields of employee benefits, literacy, and human resources. Steve started their career at Castle Metals as a Sales Representative in 1998 and then moved to Acordia as an Associate Director in 2002. In 2005, Ligus joined Great-West Healthcare as a Sales Representative. In 2008, they transitioned to Hylant as a Vice President & Client Executive, focusing on employee benefits. Ligus also has a strong involvement in the community, serving as a Founding Board Member for the Cleveland SHRM Foundation since 2017 and holding multiple leadership positions at Cleveland SHRM, including President, President-Elect, and Vice President, Membership. Steve is currently involved with Seeds of Literacy as a Board Member and Board Secretary.

Steve Ligus earned a HS Diploma from Saint Ignatius High School in 1996. Steve then attended John Carroll University from 1996 to 2000 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Political Science. Later, in 2003, Steve pursued further education at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and completed their MBA degree in Economics in 2006. Additionally, they attended the Cleveland Leadership Center from 2012 to 2013, where they obtained a degree in Cleveland Bridge Builders.
