Anne Cranston

Anne has over 20 years’ experience with Hymans Robertson, working in both the public and private pensions industry which enables her to provide advice and support over a broad range of actuarial and funding issues facing employers and funds at this time.

Anne specialises in secure membership data transfer. Anne headed up the project, to develop the Universal Data Extract working with the other actuarial firms, GAD and the four LGPS software providers to standardise membership data submission. This extract streamlines the data submission for LGPS pensions’ administration teams, not just for valuation purposes but for all employer work, freeing the pensions’ team up to focus on other projects. Anne also headed up the internal GDPR project for the Public Sector team.
