Nikolay Smodlev

Nikolay Smodlev is an experienced professional in the fields of fundraising, dance instruction, and program development. Currently serving as a Fundraising Organizer at SickKids Foundation since 2019, Smodlev co-organized the Pink Candy Dance Festival. As the Founder and Creative Director of the Toronto Dance Festival since 2018, Smodlev promotes the art of dance in the community. In addition, Smodlev works as a Program Consultant at Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care, where contributions include leading dance programs for clients with Parkinson's Disease and organizing fundraisers. Smodlev's entrepreneurial spirit is evident through ownership of Dance DNA, a leading dance education institution, and prior ownership of Dance Maximum. A solid background in both youth policy and physical education is complemented by a robust educational foundation in linguistics and global business management.
