John Calef III

John Calef III has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. John is currently working as the Director of Product Management at HYNIVA LLC, starting in January 2022. Previously, they served as the Lead Product Owner at Fiserv from March 2020 to January 2022, where they led agile software development teams in creating digital lending products. John was also responsible for managing a high-performing agile data team as the Senior Manager of Software Development at Dish Network from March 2017 to March 2020. Before that, they held multiple roles at EchoStar Corporation, including Manager of Data Analytics and Staff Systems Engineer. At EchoStar, they led a data team in developing monitoring tools and dashboards, and also served as a Subject Matter Expert for Nagra Subscriber Authorization Systems. Throughout their career, John has demonstrated expertise in product management, agile methodology, data analytics, and system engineering, consistently delivering high-quality results and meeting customer needs.

John Calef III has a Master's Degree in Information Systems from The George Washington University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications such as SAFe 5.0 Product Owner/Product Manager POPM and SAFe 5.0 Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc. John acquired these certifications in June 2020.
