Irina Anguelova

Irina Anguelova is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the FinTech sector, currently serving as Managing Director at Hypatia Capital Group since April 2011. In this role, Irina has initiated over 100 relationships with private equity and venture capital firms, focusing on private placements and buyout opportunities, while also developing an extensive CEO network. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Financial Institutions at Merrill Lynch, where Irina focused on financial technology services, and as Vice President at Citi, driving transaction execution across financial institutions. Irina's career began at Salomon Brothers, contributing to the launch of its FinTech group. Irina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math, Economics, and Asian Studies from Mount Holyoke College.
