Alex Mackrill is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in digital marketing and communications. Currently serving as Chief Marketing Officer at Hype & Dexter since January 2018, Alex specializes in Digital Transformation, Marketing Automation, and Lead Generation, aiming to democratize advanced marketing tools for businesses of all sizes. Prior to this role, Alex managed b2c and b2b marketing strategies as Marketing Communications Manager for eCommerce at NZME., and contributed to GrabOne in various capacities including Digital Content & Community Manager and Senior Copywriter. Alex began a career in marketing as a Copywriter for Gopher.co.nz after earning a BA (Hons) in Visual Media from The Manchester Metropolitan University between 1999 and 2003.
