Elana Staroselsky

Elana Staroselsky has a diverse work experience in the field of creative production and media coordination. Elana has worked for various companies, starting in 2010 with Boulder Community Media as a Reporter and Production Assistant for the Boulder International Film Festival. In 2011, they interned at Participant Media in Marketing and Events. In 2012, they had internships at 303 Magazine and Sydney Film Festival/Travelling Film Festival, where they focused on marketing, publicity, and social media.

In 2013, Elana joined Makeout as a Creative Producer, Cinematographer, and Editor. Elana also freelanced as an Associate Producer for Modern Epic and a Production Coordinator for Russian Film Week NYC during the same year. Elana further gained experience at Elevation Video as a Freelance Videographer and Production Coordinator.

Elana joined HYPEBEAST in 2016 and has held multiple roles within the company since then. Elana started as a Creative Producer and then progressed to become a Creative Production Manager. In 2019, they became the Creative Production Director and in 2020, they were promoted to Executive Producer. Currently, they hold the prestigious position of Vice President of Production, EMEA and North America, starting in January 2023.

Elana Staroselsky completed their education at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2009 to 2013. During this time, they pursued a degree in Journalism-Broadcast News and also obtained a Certificate in Technology, Arts & Media. In 2012, they briefly attended the University of Sydney, where they focused on Cultural Studies as part of their Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies program.
