Hugo Ribeiro

Hugo Ribeiro has over 20 years of work experience in the technology field. Hugo began their career in 1999 as a Network Engineer for Grupo Salvador Caetano. In 2000, they took on the role of Network and System Administrator for DCC-FCUP. From 2014 to 2022, Hugo worked as CIO (Chief Information Officer) / IT Director for CESPU - Cooperativa de Ensino Superior Politécnico e Universitário. Most recently, they were appointed as VP of Engineering for UpLink, where they work to build a decentralized telco, tokenizing connectivity and incentivizing people to spread The Collective Network.

Hugo Ribeiro received their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the Universidade do Porto in 1998 and their Msc in Networks and Computer Systems from the same institution in 2003. Hugo also attended DCC-FCUP, where they completed both their Bachelor and Msc.
