Lucian Slatineanu

Lucian Slatineanu is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as Design Director at Hypergiant, Lucian focuses on user experience and machine intelligence, notably for the US Army Robotic Combat Vehicle Sustainment project. As the Chief Design Officer and Founder of Emblematiq, Lucian manages a design studio that collaborates with innovative startups. Previous tenures include Creative Director at Chrome River Technologies, where Lucian guided significant branding and design projects, and Senior Interactive Designer at Hobsons, illustrating dramatic KPI improvements through product redesign. Notable contributions as Lead UX Designer at Rand McNally and Senior Product Designer at Groupon further showcase Lucian’s expertise in user experience, product strategy, and design innovation. Education was completed at Universitatea „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iași with a BS in Computer Science.
