Naveen Kumar Bannagani Venkata has extensive experience in data engineering, analytics, and artificial intelligence projects. Naveen Kumar is currently working at Hypergiant as the Senior Principal of Data Engineering & Analytics, leading a team and driving the implementation of best practices. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Data Engineering & Analytics at PySys Technologies LLC, where they managed various initiatives for clients such as Nuvve Corp, Takeda, CaringBridge, State of Minnesota, and FHLBC. Additionally, Naveen has held roles as the Chief Architect at Vanguard, Lead Data Engineer at Hypergiant, Principal Cloud Engineer at EnLink Midstream, Analyst at John Deere, Data Architect at Wells Fargo, Data Modeler at the New York State Office of Mental Health, and Project Lead at Humana and Cigna. Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in various technologies and platforms including AWS, SQL, Python, Tableau, Spark, and DB2.

Naveen Kumar Bannagani Venkata earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University in the years 1997-2001. Naveen Kumar then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Data Analytics from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2014 to 2016. Naveen Kumar also completed a High School Equivalence Certificate Program from SKPD between 1984 and 1997. Additionally, Naveen has obtained several certifications, including the AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2023, and the TOGAF® 9 Foundation from The Open Group in 2022.
