Amirmahdi Honardoost has a strong background in the field of integrated photonics and has held various roles in both academic and industry settings. Most recently, they are working as a Research Scientist at HyperLight, where they lead multiple projects focused on the development of high-performance integrated photonic devices and circuits. Prior to this, Amirmahdi served as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, working in Prof. Ming C. Wu's Integrated Photonics Laboratory. Amirmahdi has also gained valuable experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at UCF The College of Optics & Photonics, where they focused on the design, fabrication, and characterization of photonic integrated circuits. Amirmahdi Honardoost has a strong educational background in Electrical Engineering. Amirmahdi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University in 2012. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at Isfahan University of Technology from 2012 to 2014, but did not complete the program. Subsequently, they enrolled in the University of Central Florida and earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from 2014 to 2016. Amirmahdi further continued their studies at the same university and achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering from 2014 to 2020.
In addition to their academic accomplishments, Amirmahdi Honardoost has also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills.
