Sophie Sadiatoonasa

Sophie Sadiatoonasa is a dedicated researcher and leader with experience in various roles related to biomedical engineering and research. Notable recent positions include serving as a Research Intern at the University of Oxford, where Sophie investigated PEDOT:PSS-collagen films under the guidance of Professor Malavika Nair, and at the University of Cambridge, focusing on in vitro models for lung epithelium in the Rawlins Lab. As President of the Queen Mary Engineering & Tech Society, Sophie facilitated skill development in CAD and coding among students. Additionally, a Consulting Intern at Cory, Sophie contributed to feasibility studies on zero-waste pop-up stores in collaboration with local authorities and universities. Currently pursuing an MRes in Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering at UCL, Sophie holds a BEng in Biomedical Engineering from Queen Mary University of London.
