Bethany Hughes

Bethany Hughes has had a varied career since 2012, when they began as a Medical Liason and Community Support for the Family & Intercultural Resource Center. In 2015, they became a Brand Ambassador for Hyperlite Mountain Gear and also founded their own company, Her Odyssey. In 2016, they began working as a Brand Ambassador for Farm to Feet. In 2017, they took on Ambassador roles for Xero Shoes and Astral Footwear. Most recently, in 2019, they became a Brand Ambassador for TRAK Outdoors Ltd. (TRAK Kayaks), paddling Central America in Trak 2.0 seaworthy portable kayaks.

Bethany Hughes studied International Law, Policy, and Finance at William Jewell College, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree between 2004 and 2008. During 2006 and 2007, they attended Oxford University to study PPE. In 2013 and 2014, Bethany completed the Summit Leadership Program.
