Samara Gordon is a General Partner at Hyperplane, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage B2B technology companies, since October 2018. In addition to this role, Samara serves on the Board of Directors for MedEssist | Pharmacy Simplified and mudstack, both since 2021 and 2022 respectively. Samara previously held the position of Consultant at Emerton, a strategy consulting firm, from April 2016 to 2018, and founded The Faster Times, a platform aimed at improving decision-making through enhanced predictions, serving as CEO from June 2015 to 2017. Earlier experience includes working as a Product Manager at Finomial, transforming hedge fund subscription processes from June 2014 to June 2015, and serving as a Fox Research and Service Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania from April 2013 to May 2014. Samara holds a Bachelor of Science in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) from the University of Pennsylvania and has a background in political science from a study abroad program at the University of Otago. Educational background includes attendance at Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy from 2006 to 2010.
