Michael Chon

Michael Chon has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Michael started their career in education as an English Enrichment Instructor at Best in Class Education in 2016. Michael then transitioned into law enforcement, working as a Police Officer at the Bellevue Police Department from 2017 to 2018, and later at the Brier Police Department from 2018 to 2019. Following this, they joined Adler Giersch PS as an Administrative Assistant for a few months in 2019. Michael then moved into the insurance industry, working as a Sales Support Specialist at Symetra from 2019 to 2021. In 2021, they transitioned into the tech industry as a Sales Development Representative at Auth0, which was later acquired by Okta. At Okta, they held roles as a Market Development Representative and later as a Senior Market Development Representative. In 2022, they joined Esper as an Inbound Sales Development Representative. Michael is currently working at Hyperproof as a Senior Business Development Representative, starting in 2023.

Michael Chon has a Bachelor's Degree in Law, Societies and Justice from the University of Washington. Prior to that, they attended Skyline High School for their high school education. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained the Underwriting Life & Health Insurance certification from LOMA in April 2021. Michael also holds certifications such as Series 6 and Series 63 from FINRA. Furthermore, they have a Washington State Life Insurance License, which was obtained through the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner. Lastly, they have a Washington State Peace Officer Certification, obtained from the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission.
