Elliott started his career with Syncom Venture Partners, investing in both early and growth stage enterprise software and frontier tech companies such as [CLEAR](/org/clear) and Iridium Satellite (IPO). After six years with Syncom, he joined Georgian Partners, investing in a number of successful growth stage software companies such as Kinnser (acquired by Mediware), TurnItIn (acquired by Advance), and [eSentire](/org/esentire). Prior to joining Bessemer, Elliott was a partner with M12, leading investments in companies such as [Livongo](/org/livongo), [BlueVine](/org/bluevine), [Trusona](/org/trusona), and [Cooler Screens](/org/cooler-screens).

Han Chae is the current Head of Security at [Hyperscience](/org/hyperscience). Han has over 10 years of experience in the cyber security field. Han started their career as a Senior Consultant - Risk Advisory Services at Ernst & Young. Han then became a Manager - Cyber Security & Threat Management at [MetLife](/org/metlife). After six years at [MetLife](/org/metlife), Han became a Senior Manager - Cyber Security Services at [Protiviti](/org/protiviti). Han then left [Protiviti](/org/protiviti) to become the Director of Information Security at Compass. Han has now been with [Hyperscience](/org/hyperscience) for over a year.

Han Chae completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at [Baruch College](/org/baruch). Han Chae also holds certifications from (ISC)² in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and from GIAC Certifications in GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) and GIAC Certified Web Application Defender (GWEB).

Before joining [Hyperscience](/org/hyperscience), Charlie was a Partner at Fusion Global Capital, a growth stage venture capital fund focused on enterprise software. Notable investments include [RingCentral](/org/ringcentral) (NYSE), [The Trade Desk](/org/the-trade-desk) (NASDAQ), VeloCloud (VMware) and Barefoot Networks (Intel). In 2014, Charlie took the role of President at [Fuze](/org/fuze), where he helped scale the organization and lead the company through its acquisition by ThinkingPhones. Charlie joined [Fuze](/org/fuze)’s acquirer, ThinkingPhones (rebranded as [Fuze](/org/fuze)), in a sales leadership capacity.

Charlie holds an MBA from [Harvard Business School](/org/harvard-business-school) and a BA in Economics and Management from the [University of Oxford](/org/university-of-oxford) (UK). He lives in New York and enjoys long distance running on the weekends.

Matt is a Partner at venture capital firm FirstMark, where he focuses mostly on early-stage enterprise and B2B investing.

Prior to FirstMark, Matt was a startup founder, tech executive and angel investor. Most recently, he was a Managing Director at Bloomberg Ventures, the incubation arm of Bloomberg LP, which he helped start. Previously, Matt was the co-founder of TripleHop, an enterprise search software startup that was acquired by Oracle, and then an executive at Oracle following the acquisition.

Matt is passionate about building communities. Since 2011, he has been running Data Driven NYC, the largest data and AI community in the US (19,000 members). He also organizes Hardwired NYC, a community focused on deep tech (7,500 members).

Paz Macdonald is the VP of Marketing at [Hyperscience](/org/hyperscience). 

She joined [Hyperscience](/org/hyperscience) with over 20 years of marketing experience, most recently having served as CMO at [Software AG](/org/software-ag), where she transformed the marketing function into a data-driven, digital-first organization to accelerate growth at the 50-year-old enterprise software company.  Prior to that, Paz was VP of Marketing at [MongoDB](/org/mongodb), where she helped lead international expansion efforts and grow the company from an emerging start-up into a publicly traded global Cloud database.

Katherine Huang is the Chief of Staff at [Hyperscience](/org/hyperscience). Katherine has held this position since January 2020. 

Previously, Katherine was with Oscar Health as Operations, Market P&L from January 2018 to December 2020. Prior to that, they were with [Bluecore](/org/bluecore) as Manager, Professional Services from January 2016 to December 2018. 

Katherine started their career at [Deutsche Bank](/org/deutsche-bank) as an Associate in Structured Credit from January 2012 to December 2016.

Katherine Huang has a B.A. from [Harvard University](/org/harvard) in English and Economics. Katherine also has certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in Series 7 & Series 63.

Katherine Huang

Steven has worked in Enterprise and Self-Serve SaaS for nearly 20 years. He joined Insurance.com pre-revenue in 2002 where he built and managed FP&A until the company was acquired by Quinstreet in 2010. After that, he spent 3 years working at [Synacor](/org/synacor) in the TV Everywhere space and helped take them public in 2012 where he ran FP&A and IR. Most recently he spent nearly 6 years at [Vimeo](/org/vimeo), one of the most beloved video companies on the planet, where he scaled the finance function and helped create a unicorn SaaS company.

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Steven earned a BSBA in Finance from [John Carroll University](/org/john-carroll-university). He currently resides in NYC with his family and is proud to call Cleveland his home.

Erik Bohman has a degree in electrical engineering from [Columbia University](/org/columbia-university).

Max Lien is the VP of Strategic Partnerships & Corporate Development at [Hyperscience](/org/hyperscience). Max has over 7 years of experience in strategic partnerships, corporate development, and corporate strategy. Prior to joining [Hyperscience](/org/hyperscience), Max was the Strategic Alliances & Corporate Development Manager at Bloomberg LP from 2016 to 2019. Max has also worked as a corporate strategy consultant for [BlackRock](/org/blackrock) and [Deloitte](/org/deloitte). In 2011, Max interned at The Blackstone Group, a leading global investment firm. Mary is a software investor at [Bessemer Venture Partners](/org/bessemer-venture-partners), which she joined to start the firm’s growth investment practice.

Mary actively tracks both private and public cloud software and is one of the key architects behind the BVP Nasdaq Emerging Cloud Index (^EMCLOUD), which serves as a benchmark for public cloud companies. She also developed Bessemer’s Cash Conversion Score and is an author of the 10 Laws of Cloud.

Previously, Mary worked in Equity Capital Markets at [Morgan Stanley](/org/morgan-stanley). She holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and graduated cum laude with an A.B. in Politics from [Princeton University](/org/princeton).

Mary D’Onofrio

Vidhan is on the investment team at [Stripes](/org/stripes), an NYC-based growth equity firm and [Hyperscience](/org/hyperscience)’s Series B lead investor.

At [Stripes](/org/stripes), he evaluates software and fintech investments and works closely with a few portfolio companies. Prior to joining [Stripes](/org/stripes), Vidhan was a front-end web developer at a market research start-up.

He holds a BS in Operations Research and Information Engineering from [Cornell University](/org/cornell-university). Born and raised in Queens, he lives in New York and enjoys playing pick-up basketball and Citi-biking around the city.

As Chief People Officer, Caron is responsible for partnering with leaders and employees to create an environment in which people can thrive and do their best work. Prior to [Hyperscience](/org/hyperscience), Caron held senior HR roles at ADP, Turner Broadcasting (now Warner Media), Siemens, and [Colonial Pipeline Company](/org/colonial-pipeline-company). Her focus has always been and will continue to be on improving organizational effectiveness by building individual capability at all levels and collective organizational capability as a result. Caron partners collaboratively with leaders and employees to ensure a focus on leadership effectiveness, performance and execution, and culture & engagement. In addition to years of HR and Talent experience in various industries, Caron’s prior experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the petroleum industry allowed her to gain valuable experiences in Construction Project Management, Logistics & Operations, and Risk Assessment Modeling which shape her approach to partnering with the business.

Caron holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management, and an MBA with a concentration in Finance – both from the Keller Graduate School of Management. Caron Cone

Dali Rajic is a progressive cloud leader with nearly 25 years of experience in sales leadership and go-to-market operational roles. Mr. Rajic has worldwide responsibility for all aspects related to revenue growth and go-to-market strategy. His 25-year career includes seven-plus years in leadership roles with AppDynamics, most recent as Chief Customer and Revenue Officer. He played a significant role in AppDynamics’ rapid ascent to market leader. Prior to joining AppDynamics, Mr. Rajic held several senior sales leadership positions at [BMC Software](/org/bmc-software) and [Verint](/org/verint). His extensive leadership and cloud experience include building multidimensional go-to-market models, designing end-to-end customer success lifecycle programs, as well as scaling value and metrics-based enterprise sales models for direct and partner sales.

As Vice President of Machine Learning, Ching-Fong (CF) is responsible for supporting the teams who deliver short-term ML projects that create value for our customers as well as longer-term bets that push the technical frontier in our mission to become the world’s leading automation company.

CF has more than 15 years of R&D experience in the tech industries, leading engineering teams in fast-paced start-ups as well as big Internet giants. His expertise includes areas of search ranking, content classification, online advertisement, and data analytics. Prior to joining [Hyperscience](/org/hyperscience), CF was the Head of Machine Learning at [Quora](/org/quora), where his teams developed ML applications of recommendation systems, content understanding, and text classification models. Before [Quora](/org/quora), he held technical leadership positions at Polyvore (acquired by Yahoo), Shanda Innovations America, and Yahoo Search.  Prior to his work at multiple Internet software companies, he was a senior researcher at the Fujitsu Lab of America.

CF received a  Master’s and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

CF currently lives in the San Francisco Bay area with his wife and two cats. He has one daughter who is studying at a college, and he enjoys hiking on the beautiful Bay Area trails on the weekend.

Ching-Fong Su

Tim Bernal is the Director of Product at [Hyperscience](/org/hyperscience), where they oversee the development of AI-powered enterprise solutions. Prior to their current role, Tim served as the Director of Product Management for Machine Learning at [Hyperscience](/org/hyperscience), where they were responsible for the product roadmap and strategy for the company's machine learning products.

Tim has a passion for using artificial intelligence to solve real-world problems and believes that next-generation enterprise software should be powered by machine learning. Under their leadership, [Hyperscience](/org/hyperscience) has released several successful products that have helped organizations automate their work and unlock new levels of productivity.

Valari Faccenda is the current Director of Account Management at [Hyperscience](/org/hyperscience), and has been with the company since September of 2018. Prior to their current position, Ms. Faccenda was the Director of Commercial Sales at [Bitly](/org/bitly) from February 2017 to September 2018. In this role, they were responsible for managing the Outbound team and developing and executing outbound strategy amongst team members. Ms. Faccenda was also responsible for recruiting, training, leading, and coaching new team members on both inbound and outbound sales development teams.

Ms. Faccenda’s experience also includes working as a Manager of Sales Development at [CB Insights](/org/cb-insights) from February 2017 to September 2018. In this role, they were responsible for generating new business opportunities through a mixture of cold calling, email campaigns, and networking. Ms. Faccenda consistently exceeded monthly and quarterly quotas set by management, averaging 150% of quota per month.

As Chief Revenue Officer, Chris leads sales, channel, and revenue operations at [Hyperscience](/org/hyperscience).

Prior to joining [Hyperscience](/org/hyperscience), Chris was Global Vice President – Strategic Initiatives and Sales at [Imperva](/org/imperva). He is an experienced sales executive responsible for creating and delivering sales strategy for mid to enterprise technology corporations. Chris has served as Area Vice President of Sales at Oracle and Vice President, Enterprise Sales, North America for RSA. Chris started his career as a network engineer and progressed to sales building up experience from inside sales, channel and account management through to strategic accounts. In his senior sales leadership positions he has overseen sales, sales engineering and channel management.

He resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife and two children.

Boyan Kelchev

As Chief Technology Officer, Tony leads the Product, Design and Engineering teams at Hyperscience.

Prior to joining Hyperscience, Tony held senior leadership roles at both start-ups and well-known companies, including Yahoo, Box, Zendesk, and Dropbox. Tony began his 25-year engineering career at NASA, where he worked on automation software for air traffic control, and later continued his research into computer network optimization. Moving into the commercial world, Tony worked on distributed software systems while at Vitria Technology, one of the first wave of Business Process Management software companies. He later built world-class teams at Box and Zendesk, and led the development of a next generation collaboration product at Dropbox.

He holds a PhD in Engineering from Brown University, as well as a combined degree in Engineering and Political Science from the same institution.

Tony lives in the San Francisco Bay area, where he is kept busy by his three three children and a boisterous puppy. He enjoys traveling and exploring the world through food with friends and family.

Don Stalter leads technology investing in the US for Global Founders Capital, where he focuses on cloud, fintech, and security. He is an investor in more than 200 startups, and is an early days partner to such companies as Brex, Checkr, CultureAmp, Deel, Headway, and Kalshi. He is also a board member or observer for software startups such as Baton, Cedar.ai, gr4vy, InCountry, and SpotHero. He started his career as an M&A banker at Credit Suisse in San Francisco, and then worked in growth equity in London.                                                                                                                                                                                  During his stint in the UK, he moonlighted as an entrepreneur, ultimately co-founding CityDeal, a cloud retail startup that was sold to Groupon. Don then brought his expertise to Airbnb early on, where he launched multiple offices both organically and through M&A. He navigated regulatory and security and infrastructure challenges, localization, and operations.

Don Stalter

Betsy is a 3-time CEO and serial entrepreneur co-founding enterprise software companies in the energy, healthcare and software industries. She scaled companies through hyper growth, and led companies to successful IPO and acquisitions such as Clear Standards bought by SAP and Ascend Communications, $5.4B in revenue acquired by Lucent for $23B.

Betsy brings operational knowledge of how-to tech enable your business and use tech to accelerate business solutions and “time-to-insight” for enterprise customers. She leverages broad contemporary knowledge of digital technology to reduce costs, drive efficiency and productivity using AI machine learning analytics to streamline processes.

Betsy’s perspective is how to apply technology to the “future of work” to tech enable high value workers (using AR/VR smart glasses.)

She also brings a view on how to rapidly scale global go-to-market organizations with deep experience in building integrator and partner ecosystems, selling into global 2,000 companies in repeatable, predictable processes.

He is a recipient of Google’s Founders Award–the company’s most prestigious recognition–for leading the development of Google’s early client efforts, which led to the creation of Google Chrome.

Wesley worked at HP Labs as a senior software engineer and at Microsoft Research as a research fellow. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from MIT and completed his master’s degree at the MIT Media Lab.

Technology Review magazine featured Wesley as a “Top 35 Under 35” innovator. Wesley’s accomplishments have been covered by the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, CNN, and Fortune, and his story as a product founder is featured in Steven Levy’s best-selling Google book, “In The Plex.”
