Alexey Soloviev has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple companies and roles. Alexey started their career in 2006 as a Market Intelligence Specialist at Bekaert. In 2008, they joined Roland Berger Strategy Consultants as a Consultant. Alexey then moved to Bekaert NV in 2009 and worked as a Business Development Manager for Russia & CIS. In 2011, they joined Hypertherm as a Distribution Channel Manager and later became an OEM Country Manager. Currently, they serve as the Head of Consumables Sales for Europe, Middle East, India & Africa at Hypertherm.

Alexey Soloviev attended the International University in Moscow (IUM) from 2001 to 2005, where they studied Linguistics and International Communication. In 2004, they participated in a semester exchange program at the University of Northern Iowa. Additionally, they obtained various certifications including "Professional Communication: Business Writing and Storytelling" from The Economist in 2023, "Listen to Lead" from LinkedIn in 2021, "Improving Your Listening Skills" from LinkedIn in 2021, and "Asserting Yourself, an Empowered Choice" from LinkedIn in 2020.
