Chris Vandernoot

Chris VanderNoot, MBA has a diverse work experience in finance and tax management. Chris started their career as a Senior/Junior Accountant at J. Jill, where they gained foundational skills in financial reporting. Chris then moved on to become a Manager of Financial Reporting, Tax, and Cash at J. Jill Group, Inc., where they managed the year-end audit process and prepared SEC compliance reports. At The J. Jill Group, Inc., they held the position of Director of Tax & Cash, overseeing tax returns, cash activity, debt compliance, and spearheading a successful merger resulting in significant tax savings. VanderNoot joined Hypertherm, Inc. as a Manager - Tax Compliance, where they established their internal tax department and facilitated the legal and tax integration of acquisitions and mergers. Currently, at Hypertherm, Inc., they serve as the Director of Tax, ensuring tax and corporate legal compliance for multiple international companies and performing M&A due diligence. Overall, VanderNoot has a well-rounded background in tax management, audit negotiation, financial reporting, and merger integration.
