Onome Scott-Emuakpor

Onome Scott-Emuakpor is an accomplished engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in aerospace engineering. Currently serving as the Founder of Hyphen Innovations since November 2022, Onome has previously held significant roles, including Aerospace Engineer at the Air Force Research Laboratory from January 2010 to November 2022, and Aerospace Research Engineer at the National Academy of Sciences from July 2008 to December 2009. Onome began a career in research as a Research Associate at The Ohio State University from June 2002 to July 2007 and completed an internship at the Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) from April 2001 to June 2002. Onome earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University (2002 - 2007) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Wright State University (1997 - 2002).
