Cheau-Long Ng

Cheau-Long Ng has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Cheau-Long started their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer at Blackbaud and worked there until 2002. From 2002 to 2007, Ng worked at nVent as a Senior Software Engineer and then transitioned to the role of Lead Software Engineer from 2007 to 2011. Cheau-Long then joined Fenice Energy in 2012, where they served as the Lead Software Developer until 2014, and subsequently became a Software Engineering Manager until 2016. Ng then moved to SolarCity in 2016 as a Senior Software Engineer before joining Tesla in 2017 as a Staff Software Engineer. Their most recent role is as a Principal Engineer at Betterworks, starting in May 2019.

Cheau-Long Ng holds a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering & Development Management from Carnegie Mellon University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama from 1997 to 1999. In addition, they have obtained certifications in "Improving Your Listening Skills" and "Collaboration Principles and Process" from LinkedIn in 2020 and 2019 respectively.
