Ellen Parkes

Ellen Parkes has extensive work experience in the animation industry. Ellen currently holds the position of Animation Lead at Hypixel Studios since January 2024. Prior to this, they worked at Improbable as a Senior Animator (Metaverse) from October 2022 to October 2023. Ellen also worked at Rare LTD as a Principal Animator from March 2005 to October 2022. Ellen began their career at Headfirst Productions as an Animator from August 2002 to March 2005, specializing in animating characters and monsters for horror computer games. Before that, they had a role as a 2D Animator at 3D Films from June 2001 to June 2002.

Ellen Parkes completed a PG Cert in Animation at the University of the Arts London from 1999 to 2000. Prior to that, they studied animation at Arts University Bournemouth from 1998 to 1999. Ellen also pursued Computer Animation at Bournemouth University from 1996 to 1998.
