Andy Firth has worked in the gaming industry since 1998. Andy began their career as an Engine Programmer at Attention to Detail and continued in the same role at Mucky Foot Productions in 2003. In 2004, they moved to Neversoft Entertainment as an Engine Programmer, then to EA Chicago as a Software Engineer III in 2006. In 2007, they became an Engine Programmer at Day 1 Studios and Lead Architect at Activision Blizzard (Robomodo) in 2008. From 2009 to 2021, they worked at Bungie in various roles, including Senior Lead Engineer, Platforms Lead and Senior Manager. In 2021, they moved to Epic Games as a Technical Director and is currently in the same role at Hypnos Entertainment, Inc.
Andy Firth obtained an Upper Second Class (2.1) Degree in Mathematical Computation from Loughborough University between 1995 and 1998. In December 2018, they completed a Technical Management Program at UCLA Extension.
