Tasheka Williams

Tasheka Williams has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Tasheka began their career as a Customer Service Representative at National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited in 2005. Tasheka then moved on to work as an Assistant Paralegal and Accounting Supervisor at Jennifer Hobson-Hector Attorney-At-Law. Tasheka further advanced their skills in the field of accounting by becoming an Executive Administrative Manager and Accounting Supervisor at Donald Wauchope Construction Company.

In 2006, Tasheka transitioned to the hospitality industry and joined RIU Hotels & Resorts as a Reception Administrator. Tasheka was responsible for various financial tasks such as managing cash sheets, reconciling accounts, and processing credits. Tasheka continued their career progression by joining Guardian Life Insurance Limited as a Financial Advisor and Insurance Sales Representative in 2009.

In 2012, Tasheka joined Panasonic USA as a Technical Engagement Specialist, where they were involved in technical support and customer engagement. Tasheka later moved to Sutherland Global Service Limited-AGFA in 2014, where they worked as an Accounting Associate. Their responsibilities included managing aging reports, processing payments, and resolving pricing disputes.

Most recently, Tasheka has been working at Hypomo since 2019 as the Director and Country Manager. Hypomo is a digital mortgage company focused on leveraging technology to streamline mortgage processes and provide a more efficient customer experience.

Tasheka Williams obtained a High School Diploma in Business Administration and Management, General from St. Catherine High School in 2003. Following that, they attended Moneague College Jamaica from 2003 to 2005, earning an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Accounting. From 2007 to 2009, they pursued further education at Excelsior Community College and received an Associate's degree in Accounting and Finance. In 2008 and 2009, Tasheka obtained a Certification in Ordinary Long Term Business and Equity from the College of Insurance and Professional Studies. Finally, they completed their education at the University of Technology, Jamaica from 2011 to 2015, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management.
