Martin Vašek

Martin Vašek is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as the CEO and Chairman of the Board for both ČSOB Stavební spořitelna and Hypoteční banka since November 2022. Vašek's tenure at ČSOB began in February 2013, where various leadership roles included Executive Director positions across Home Financing, Wealth Management Products, Retail Branch Network, Retail Clients Services and Sales, Operations and Procurement, and Change Zone Leader for Products and Integration. Prior roles encompass key positions at CSOB Pension Company and KBC Asset Management, as well as previous experience at Hypoteční banka and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Vašek holds an Executive education degree from INSEAD, completed ACCA professional training, and graduated with a Master’s in Finance from Prague University of Economics and Business.
