Matthew Reyes

Matthew Reyes has a diverse work experience, starting from 2014. Matthew worked as a Project Management Analyst at Mackenzie Investments in 2014. In 2015, they were an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo (Faculty of Mathematics) and also worked as a Greenhouse Technology intern at Deloitte Greenhouse. In 2016, they had co-op positions at Scotiabank as a Data Engineer - Network Analytics and at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan in Capital Markets - Equity Trading. In 2017, they worked at Snap Inc. as a Data Scientist - Revenue and at Uber as a Data Scientist - Shared Rides (UberPOOL). In 2018, they co-founded Hypotenuse Labs, where they currently hold the position of Co-Founder.

Matthew Reyes has a Bachelor's degree in Computational Mathematics from the University of Waterloo. Matthew also participated in the International Exchange Program at the National University of Singapore, where they studied Mathematics and Statistics. In terms of certifications, they completed the Bloomberg Essentials Training Program, Equity Essentials from Bloomberg LP in February 2014. Additionally, they obtained the certification for Advanced Rudiments, First Class Honours with Distinction from The Royal Conservatory of Music in April 2013.
