Natasha Wood

Natasha Wood is a Co-founder & Chief Product Officer at Hyrax Biosciences. Natasha has a PhD in Human Genetics from the University of Cape Town and an MSc in Bioinformatics from the University of Pretoria. Natasha has worked as a Lecturer / NRF Research Career Fellow at the University of Cape Town, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the South African National Bioinformatics Institute, and an Application Specialist at Roche. Natasha has also worked as a Candidate Patent Attorney at Von Seidels.

Natasha Wood studied at Stellenbosch University for their BSc, BSc Honours, and MSc in the fields of Genetics, Physiology, Biochemistry, Nutrition, Psychology. Natasha then completed their PhD in Computational Biology at the University of Cape Town. Natasha is currently completing an Executive MBA in Entrepreneurial business leadership with specialisation in healthcare, innovation & technology at EDHEC Business School.

Natasha Wood reports to Simon Travers, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Kirsten Miller-Duys - COO, Imogen Wright - Co-founder & Consultant, and Andre Van Der Merwe - CTO.
