Leila Asdal Danielsen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Leila Asdal is currently a board member at Nærsnes og Åros Idrettsforening since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Hystar starting in October 2021.

In 2022, Leila also held a position as a board member for the Digital Leadership Community at Polyteknisk Forening from March to November. Additionally, Leila worked as a Reporter at News Talk 980 CKNW from October 2006 to June 2007. Leila Asdal also had internships at Global News and CTV in 2007. Leila started their professional journey as a student at the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2007.

Leila Asdal Danielsen pursued their education in a sequential manner. In 2003, they attended the University of the Fraser Valley, where they completed their first year of study in General Studies. Following this, from 2004 to 2005, they engaged in part-time studies in Broadcast Journalism at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Leila Asdal then continued their education at the same institute, specializing in Broadcast and Media Communications with a focus on Broadcast Journalism, from 2005 to 2007. Finally, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Science Communication and Public Engagement at The University of Edinburgh from 2016 to 2019.
