Jeffrey Schafer

Jeffrey Schafer is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and automation. Currently serving as the Strategic Projects Engineering Leader for Corporate Manufacturing at Hyster-Yale Group since October 2022, Jeffrey has held various roles in the engineering domain, including Senior Field Service Engineer and Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at ESS, Inc. From August 2020 to August 2021, Jeffrey contributed as a Manufacturing Engineer at Glen Dimplex Americas, focusing on project management for new product development. Previous roles at Precision Castparts included Automation Engineer and Process Control Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed project ownership in automation and cost reduction initiatives. Jeffrey began the engineering career as a Process Control Engineering Intern at Precision Castparts and also gained experience at Gerber as a LEAN Kanban Coordinator and Manufacturing Engineering Intern. Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Oregon State University.
