Morne Stramrood

Morne Stramrood has a strong background in engineering and sales roles within the telecommunications industry. Morne most recently served as the Sales Engineering Director at Hytera US Inc. since June 2018. Prior to that, they held positions at Tait Communications, including the Technology CoE Director from January 2017 to May 2018, Engineering Manager from October 2016 to January 2017, and Senior System Engineer from August 2016 to September 2016. Morne was also the VP Customer Support at PowerTrunk Inc. from August 2015 to July 2016 and a Senior Sales Engineer at Sepura LLC from October 2013 to August 2015. Additionally, Morne Stramrood worked at Tait Communications as a Principal Consultant from January 2012 to October 2013 and as a Solution Sales Engineer from March 2009 to October 2013. Morne began their career as a System Engineer at Tideland Signal from August 2001 to January 2009 and also held engineering positions at Marine Data Systems from February 2000 to August 2001 and Transtel from January 1997 to January 2000.

Morne Stramrood attended Stellenbosch University from 1990 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
