Tom Olszewski

Tom Olszewski is a seasoned Senior Regulatory Attorney at Hyundai Kia America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) since June 2017, providing legal support on compliance and verification/validation testing while managing relations with global government regulators such as NHTSA and EPA. Prior experience includes serving as Principal Attorney at Olszewski & Associates, PLC, advising corporations on legal matters and litigating contract disputes, and working as a Patent Examiner at the USPTO, reviewing applications in advanced automotive technologies. Earlier roles include Patent Attorney at Cichosz and Cichosz, regulatory analyst at TRW Automotive, and engineering positions at Toyota and Magna Interior Systems. Tom holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University.
