Arpan Rijal

Arpan Rijal is an experienced logistics and operations professional with a strong background in the shipping industry. Currently serving as the National Equipment Supervisor at HMM since April 2022, Arpan previously held roles as a Vessel Close Coordinator at ZIM Integrated Shipping Services and Inchcape Shipping Services. Arpan also worked as an Operations & Logistics Officer at MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, managing road and rail transport and customs clearances for import and export shipments. Prior to that, Arpan gained expertise as a Logistics Coordinator at Hamburg Süd, where responsibilities included optimizing equipment stock levels and timely equipment evacuation. Arpan began a career as an Operations Officer at Inchcape Shipping Services, managing daily vessel operations updates and facilitating stowage planning exchanges. Arpan holds an MBA in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the University of North Texas and a BBA from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
