Elena Chervyakova

Elena Chervyakova has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. Elena started their career in 1995 as a Financial Manager at NEDA PAGING, a telecom services company. Elena then worked as the Chief Accountant at NEVSKI MOST, a wholesale trading and logistics company in the oil and gas industry, from 1997 to 2005. Elena then joined PETROFLEX, a construction materials manufacturing and sales company, as the CFO from 2005 to 2008. Currently, they work at Hyundai Merchant Marine, where they hold the positions of Deputy CFO and Chief Accountant. In this role, Elena is responsible for financial planning, cost controlling, cash management, and financial reporting. Elena also contributes to strategic planning, business development, and project evaluation. Elena has successfully handled audits and tax revisions throughout their career.

Elena Chervyakova began their education in 1990 at the Saint Petersburg State University of Finance & Economics, where they obtained a Master's degree in Finance & Management in 1995. Elena continued their studies at the same institution, completing their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Economics of commercial enterprise from 1995 to 1998.

In 2007, Elena obtained a Certificate of Professional Chief Accountant from the Institute of Professional Accountants. Elena furthered their education in 2008 at the Training center for Accountants, focusing on the transformation of reporting from Russian accounting standards (RAS) to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
