Hoon Kim

Hoon Kim is an experienced Automotive Cybersecurity Manager and Engineer with a robust background in establishing security processes based on standards such as ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE Cybersecurity. Currently working at Hyundai MOBIS since August 2018, Hoon Kim has proficiency in Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA), as well as applying the Security Development Life Cycle (SDLC) through various methodologies, including Attack Surface analysis and Incident Response. Prior to this role, Hoon Kim served at LG Electronics from August 2012 to July 2018, contributing as a cybersecurity manager for multiple projects and leading Security Development Lifecycle initiatives. Hoon Kim also has experience as an Embedded Software Engineer, specializing in mobile application development and device drivers. Hoon Kim holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Korea University, along with a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Seoul National University of Science and Technology.
