Tara Harper

Tara Harper is a highly experienced professional in employee relations and labor law, currently serving as a Senior Employee Relations Consultant at Hyundai MOBIS since July 2025. Prior to this role, Tara held various positions at U.S. Customs and Border Protection from June 2007 to July 2025, including Union Relations Manager, where guidance was provided to management across 19 field locations and 8 headquarters offices regarding collective bargaining agreements for over 30,000 employees. Additional roles included Head of Employee Engagement and Development, where a strategic plan was developed for the agency's 32,000 employees, and Labor Relations Analyst, managing a portfolio of litigation cases. Tara also has extensive legal experience, having worked as an Associate General Counsel and Lead Attorney, as well as serving as a part-time instructor at the College of Coastal Georgia.
