Sujith Shankar

Sujith Shankar is a seasoned automotive engineering professional with extensive experience in quality engineering, program management, and body systems development. Currently serving as Senior Group Manager for Body / Chassis Systems Quality Engineering at Hyundai Motor America since March 2023, Sujith oversees quality for the Hyundai and Genesis brands. Previously at Rivian, Sujith held the position of Senior Manager for Technical Program Management in Body Engineering, leading the successful launch of the R1T Truck and R1S SUV and managing cost reduction strategies. Sujith's career includes various leadership roles at Hyundai Motor America, Fisker Inc., Espas-Osirius, Honda R&D Americas, and Johnson Controls Automotive. Sujith holds a Master of Science in Technology Commercialization from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from GT&TC.
