Wayne Gates has extensive experience in automotive quality and safety management, currently serving as the Director of the Product Analysis Group at Hyundai Motor America since June 2015, where responsibilities include vehicle safety and engineering design analysis. Previously, Wayne held managerial positions at Toyota Motor Sales and Toyota Engineering and Manufacturing North America, overseeing teams focused on safety-related customer complaints and quality engineering. Early career roles included positions at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas and NUMMI as a QC Engineer, complemented by an educational background in engineering from California State University, Chico.
