Klaus Köster has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Klaus started their career at DaimlerChrysler AG as a member of the research staff in the Exchange Group Research and Technology. Klaus then joined Mercedes-AMG GmbH, where they held various managerial positions, including Senior Manager for C-/E-/CLS-Class & MRA models, Manager for development of brake, stability control, and driver assistance systems, and Project Manager for C-/CLK-/SLK-Class. In 2015, Klaus joined Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center GmbH as the Director of High Performance Vehicle Development before transitioning to their current role as the Director of Planning & Project Management. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in product planning, project management, vehicle development, and regulatory compliance.
Klaus Köster pursued their undergraduate education at Technische Universität Darmstadt from 1993 to 1999, where they earned a degree in Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering) and graduated with a Diplom-Ingenieur. In 1997, they had an opportunity to study at Cornell University College of Engineering for a year, specifically in the field of Mechanical Engineering, as part of their Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) program. Additionally, Klaus Köster was associated with the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes, although the specific degree and field of study remain unknown.
