Chris Johnson

Chris Johnson, AIA, serves as the Assistant Director of Facilities Planning & Project Management at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since September 2021. Prior to this role, Chris worked as a Facility Planner and Project Manager at North Carolina State University from January 2015 to September 2021, and as an Architect and Project Manager at Clearscapes, PA, from May 2004 to January 2015. Notable projects include Raleigh Union Station, Saxapahaw Rivermill Lofts, and the Raleigh Convention Center. Chris also has experience in the film and television industry, contributing to projects such as Cast Away and What Lies Beneath. Education includes a Master of Architecture from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
