Johnny Basmajy

Johnny Basmajy is an experienced Environmental and Sustainability Specialist at Hyundai Motor Group since September 2023, with a strong background in environmental health and safety from a previous role at Veolia. In addition to current responsibilities, Johnny serves as Construction Manager for Next Step Ministries, overseeing building projects and youth volunteer management. Past experiences include leadership roles in volunteer coordination at Samaritan's Purse, international education support at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and teaching positions with International Schools Group. Johnny holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and has pursued studies in civil and environmental engineering and English language and literature.
