Mario de la Garza

Mario De La Garza is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and field service coordination within the power transformer sector. Currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer at Hyundai Power Transformers USA since November 2023, Mario previously held the position of Project Manager at Prolec GE from January 2013 to August 2023, where responsibilities included acting as a primary customer contact and overseeing project administration from design to installation. Earlier roles included Field Service Coordinator at Prolec GE and Field Service Engineer at Voltrak Mexico, focusing on transformer installation and maintenance. Mario began their career with internships at Visteon Corporation, gaining valuable experience in maintenance and production line supervision. Mario holds a Licenciatura in Ingeniero Mecánico Electricista from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, earned between 2004 and 2010.
