David Zhang

David Zhang serves as the Senior Director of Global Vehicle Software at Hyzon Motors, where responsibilities include leading the Controls, Software, and Vehicle Electrical & Electronics organization and overseeing organizational growth, roadmaps, and product development since February 2021. Prior to this role, David held various positions, including Director of Vehicle Software at SAE International and Chief Engineer for Controls and Software at Navistar Inc., where embedded software development for vehicle and powertrain applications was a primary focus. David also has experience as Sr. Software Engineering Manager at Continental, Software Section Manager at Motorola ACESS, and Sr. Software Engineer at Motorola AIEG, among others. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northern Illinois University and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University School of Business.
