Roberto Battistel was born in Venezuela and moved to Florida with his family in 2007. He attended the University of Central Florida, where he earned a double major in Economics and Finance and a minor in International Business. He interned with Juniper Networks in Spain and worked with the Business Enablement and Scalability Team on multi-million dollar projects.
He began his career at I-CON in 2013 while still at UCF. Here, he led the creation of the international sales operation and became an Account Executive after graduation. Today, he travels extensively around the globe, managing a distribution network that covers more than 20 countries. He is a professional member of the International Corrections and Prisons Association where he serves as a member of the Expert Group in Technology in Corrections.
Roberto, who has visited all the inhabited continents, loves learning about and interacting with different cultures. He understands several languages and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian. In his spare time, he loves to play soccer with the Central Florida Soccer League and practice his marksmanship with the United States Practical Shooting Association, where he has won several national championships in his division.
