Liyang Song

Liyang Song has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry. Liyang recently joined I-Mab Biopharma in 2020 and transitioned to the role of Clinical Research Director in October 2021. In this role, they lead a team of 59 CRAs and 5 CRMs to ensure study delivery in good quality. Prior to their current position, Liyang was the Project Management Director at I-Mab Biopharma from December 2020 to October 2021. Liyang also has experience working at BeiGene as a (Sr.) Clinical Operation Manager from August 2016 to December 2020, where they were responsible for Clinical Project Management in Hematology and Oncology Clinical Trials. Before that, they worked as a Clinical Project Manager at Nestlé from July 2014 to July 2016. Liyang also gained experience as a Local Trial Manager at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson from September 2013 to July 2014 and as a CRA and SCRA at Oncology Business Unit at Novartis from May 2009 to September 2013. Their career started at The University of Hong Kong, where they worked as a Research Assistant from August 2006 to February 2009.

Liyang Song completed a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science from Tianjin Medical University from 2000 to 2004. Subsequently, from 2004 to 2005, they pursued an MRes degree in Analytical Bioscience at the University of Nottingham.
