Joris Wauters

Joris Wauters currently serves as Manager Marketing & Communicatie and Woordvoerder & PR at i-mens since February 2023. Prior to this role, Joris worked at Stad Gent from February 2019 to February 2023 as a Raadgever Werk en Sociale Economie focusing on Pers & Communicatie. Joris held the position of Foresight Specialist at Digipolis from October 2016 to February 2019 and contributed to the University of Antwerp from March 2009 to January 2016 as a PhD student in the Policy Research Centre on Integration, researching the role of social networks in social capital and civic integration. Joris also worked as a researcher at the Centre for Migration and Intercultural Studies. Joris obtained a Master’s degree in History from Ghent University in 2008.
