Martyn Kent

Martyn Kent is an experienced journalist and editor with a career spanning over two decades in the media industry. Since April 2016, Martyn has served as Associate Editor and previously as Assistant Editor at The i Paper. Prior to this, Martyn held the position of Assistant Editor, Production, and Sub-editor at The Independent from January 2008 to April 2016. Martyn's earlier roles include Chief Sub-editor, Editor, and Senior Reporter/Reporter at Newsquest between April 2003 and December 2007. Martyn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of Nottingham and a post-graduate qualification in NCTJ Newspaper Journalism from Harlow College, alongside A-levels in History, French, and Business Studies from Swindon College.
