Taz Ali

Taz Ali is a highly experienced journalist currently serving as a Senior World Reporter and Acting Deputy Foreign Editor at The i Paper since May 2021. Prior to this role, Taz worked as a Foreign News Reporter at the same publication and gained valuable experience at PA Media as a Reporter from March 2020 to May 2021. Taz began a significant tenure at Archant in January 2017, initially as a Junior Reporter before progressing to Senior Reporter and eventually becoming an Investigations Reporter after a secondment with the investigation unit. Taz's early career included a role as a Trainee Reporter at Reach plc and work experience at Birmingham Mail during NCTJ training. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Kingston University and a Level 3 Diploma in Journalism from City of Wolverhampton College.
