Koichi Yamamura has a long and varied work experience. Koichi began their career in 1979 as a Plant Manager and Executive Director at Seiki Metal Works Oita Plant. In 1991, they transitioned to Senior Executive Director at Seiki Metal Works. In 1996, they moved to Media Gain Co., Ltd. as Senior Executive Director, and was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2010. In 2017, they became Head of Measurement at Nissan Motor Corporation. Koichi also held roles as Visiting Senior Researcher and Guest Researcher at Waseda University from 2015 to 2018, Principal at TS Communication from 2015 to 2018, Head of Japan at PRIME Research from 2018 to 2020, and Communication Manager at I Peace, Inc. from 2018 to 2020. Koichi is currently a Visiting Professor at Akita International University.
Koichi Yamamura received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business Administration from International Christian University in 1977. Koichi later obtained a Master of Science in Public Relations from Boston University College of Communication in 2007 and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Communication from the University of Miami in 2010. Koichi also holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Miami.
