Joel Tinio

Joel Tinio currently serves as Senior Vice President of the Information Technology Services Division at I-Remit, Inc. since September 2021. Prior to this role, Tinio was the Chief Information Officer and FVP at Bank of Commerce in the Philippines from October 2015 to May 2021, where responsibilities included creating IT strategies to enhance profitability and efficiency. As Chief Information Officer at ABS-CBN Convergence, Inc. from September 2012 to May 2014, Tinio established and directed strategic policies for the IT Division. Tinio also held the position of Head of Service Delivery for Information Systems at Maybank Philippines, Inc. from May 2010 to September 2012, focusing on IS Infrastructure and Administration Services. Additionally, Tinio contributed to Security Bank Corporation from February 1986 to August 2007 as Head of the Technical Support Division. Tinio earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from De La Salle University.
