Carlos Prada

Carlos Prada has held a variety of roles in the technology industry. Carlos started their career in 2002 as a Database Designer at Tissa Technology Group. In 2004, they became an Application Developer at Universidad Industrial de Santander. In 2005, they Co-Founded and became a Project Manager at Gismobile Limited. In 2007, they worked as a Research Engineer/CIFRE PhD Industrial Grant at STMicroelectronics and also as a MSc Computer Science Internship at Grenoble INP - Institut polytechnique de Grenoble. At the same time, they were a PhD Student at the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control (INRIA). In 2011, they became a Software Engineer at STMicroelectronics. Most recently, in 2017, they Co-Founded and became CIO/CFO at TiHive.

Carlos Prada obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad Industrial de Santander in 2004. In 2006, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science from Universit\u00e9 Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I). In 2007, they received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Informatics from Universit\u00e9 Grenoble Alpes. In 2016, they completed an MBA Study trip: The intersection between public and private sectors from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. In the same year, they earned a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Finance, General from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. In 2017, they completed the Challenge + program in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from HEC Paris. In 2021, they obtained a certification in Alternative Investments from Harvard Business School Online. Finally, Carlos Prada is currently enrolled in the Oxford Private Equity Programme at Sa\u00efd Business School, University of Oxford, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
