Colvin Cowie

Colvin Cowie is a highly experienced technical lead with a strong background in Java server development, particularly for IBM i2 intelligence analysis products. Since January 2022, Colvin has held the position of Technical Lead at i2 Group, following an extensive tenure at IBM from September 2013 to December 2021, where roles included Technical Lead, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. Colvin focused on enhancing search capabilities by integrating and extending the Apache Solr search platform. Colvin's educational background includes a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Science from the University of Strathclyde, completed between 2008 and 2013, and secondary education at Peebles High School.
